Massage Therapy Policy Form Cancellation Policy
We value your time and our commitment to providing exceptional service. To ensure that our schedules run smoothly and to accommodate clients on our waiting list, we enforce a 48-hour cancellation policy. This means that if you have an appointment at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, you must cancel no later than 4:00 pm on Monday to avoid cancellation fees.

**Missed or Late Cancellation Fees:**
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance: No charge
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment: 60% of the booked service fee
- No-shows (failure to cancel or arrive for the appointment): 100% of the booked service fee

**Illness and Exceptional Circumstance Policy:**
Your well-being and safety are our utmost priority. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes affect your ability to keep appointments. In the event of illness or acts of nature, such as inclement weather, accidents, or injuries, we do not apply any cancellation fees.
If you or your child is unwell, please call us to reschedule your appointment. We kindly ask that you do not come in for treatment when you're not feeling your best.

On rare occasions, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate the rescheduling of appointments on our end, as listed above. Although infrequent, we will contact you individually should this apply to your appointment. We understand that this may cause inconvenience and apologize in advance for any disruption to your scheduled session.

**Payment and Reimbursement Policy**
As our valued client, you hold the ultimate responsibility for payment of your treatment. Payment is due on the date of your appointment. We offer insurance reimbursement receipts upon request, which can be used for your claims.
Furthermore, we are pleased to accept payments through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to make your wellness journey as accessible as possible.

Inclement Weather Information
**Winter Weather and Safety Policy**
Winter weather can be unpredictable, and your safety is our top priority. During snowy or hazardous conditions when travel becomes nerve-wracking, we want to assure you that we will not charge for last-minute cancellations.
While we will make every effort to get to work and keep your appointment, there may be rare instances when we cannot make it due to severe weather conditions. In such cases, we will promptly reach out to you to inform you of the situation.

Your safety is equally important to us. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable traveling to your appointment during adverse weather conditions, please don't hesitate to let us know, and we will gladly reschedule it for a more suitable time.
This policy also extends to flooding conditions, considering that I live in Carnation. We understand that such circumstances can be inconvenient and apologize in advance for any disruptions to your scheduled session.
